Saturday 26 April 2008 and on the FW's birthday, four Goldfinches visited the garden. My original two have been frequent visitors over the last few days after being away for a wee while. Goldfinches are the FW's favourite bird. This was a present I couldn't have planned.
Yesterday there were two Siskins which I haven't see for about eight weeks.
This is my first attempt at uploading a video onto my Blog. The quality isn't great. It was shot with a small compact Digital Camera, full zoom and through a double glazed window. Not easy standing on one leg, an elbow crutch and videoing with a Digital Camera. The Goldies were on the feeder at 08:30am and stayed for around 10 minutes. One came back yesterday at 10:00am but there has been nothing today so far.Hopefully I can post more videos in the future if I can get some decent footage and possibly add a commentary.
