Rooks

This is the Rooks' nests closest to my home. The photo was taken from my front door and the nests are about sixty feet up. There are actually two nests on the left. The one you can see on the lateral branch but there is one on the vertical branch on the tree behind. The rooks may be sitting on eggs at the moment but I am not completely sure. The nests must be strong and well built to have survived the recent gales and the high winds we are getting today. Since I have started feeding bread along with the seed, peanuts etc the Rooks have descended in droves and taking over at times. Afraid the bread must go.
